Albanian Milk Dessert


Ingredients

Bring 1 cup melted butter and 1 ½ cups milk to a boil. Add flour to the mix and cook while stirring constantly. When the mixture is cooled, add whisked egg slowly and form into a dough. Spread the dough mixture in a deep, oven-proof dish and bake in pre-heated oven at 180°C until the edges turn light brown and crispy. Meanwhile, boil water, sugar and lemon together in a separate bowl until they reach a syrupy consistency. Pour the syrup over the baked pastry while still hot. Cool and serve!
