Dulce de Leche
There is no doubt that dulce de leche is simply addictive, especially considering how many jars of this “milk jam” we consumed since we began making it with the fresh milk from the farm! The intense caramel aftertaste is so rich that even if you spread it on a slice of stale bread, you’ll leave the table with the feeling of having eaten the most delicious dessert in the world. We strongly urge you to try this recipe with the Efeler Milk but brace yourself with the fight you will have against your will to stop yourself from licking the bottom of the jar.
After extracting the seed from the vanilla pod, mix with 1 L. Efeler Çiftliği Milk and 1 ½ cup of sugar in a saucepan over medium heat until the sugar melts. Next, add ½ tsp baking soda and constantly stir with a wooden spoon over low heat for almost an hour. Remove the pod from the pan and continue mixing for another 1.5 to 2 hours. You will obtain roughly one cup of dulce de leche (milk jam).
